Mapping Space [2017], Video with Sound

Mapping Space [2017]

Mapping Space [2017] responds to sociological research by Martyn Hudson into the artistic practices taking place at the NewBridge Project before the demolition of Norham House in 2017. Over 5 floors and unfolding in 5 chapters, the work explores the different types of practices that have been enabled within the building, the motivations that encouraged studio members to join the NewBridge Project, the way in which the space has been remapped over time and collective hopes for the future.

The video was commissioned for the NewBridge Project with Support from Newcastle University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape and its presentation was supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
