Last week I was battling through a blizzard in Stockholm to visit a conference at Intercult called Audience Links Xchange: the Future of the European Project. Focusing on audience development, the conference was an interesting snapshot into current thinking about the strategies and methods used to build audiences around Europe.

I was asked to sit on the panel 'Audience by Surprise', presenting some of the work I've done on digital engagement as part of my role at ISIS Arts alongside Magdalena Malm, Director of the Swedish National Public Art Agency, Sweden; Patrik Liljegren, Head of Cultural Strategy for the City of Stockholm, Sweden; Iker Tolosa, Director of Donostia/San Sebastaian 2016 City of Culture, Spain; and Marijana Riminic, Communications Manager at Pogon, Croatia.
